Thomas Safran & Associates (http://www.tsahousing.com/) is hiring a highly passionate person for the Operations Coordinator position to support our real estate property management team that manages high quality affordable housing in Southern California. This position is a vital liaison to the team and will facilitate communication between the compliance, social services, property management operations, accounting and human resources teams to execute the mission of the company: enhancing the world in which we live and enriching the lives of the people who reside in our buildings. This opportunity fosters broad exposure to the affordable housing industry of over 70 residential and mixed-use properties and 9,000 people who reside in our buildings. This position is ideal for those who have a desire to serve our community with purposeful work and change the future of our neighborhoods by providing quality housing for populations in need.

Benefits-At-A-Glance

Salary ranges from $25.00/hour to $30.00/hour and is based on skills and experience.

  • Full-time schedule is Monday-Friday in the main office located in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Hybrid work from both home and/or other TSA work locations is occasionally available based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate financial reports including vacancy loss, cash flow, budget tracking, delinquency, expense reporting.

  • Research, implement and manage company-wide initiatives, including technology innovations and sustainability programs, and vendor contract review.

  • Coordinate workflow and provide general administrative support in the areas of marketing, communications, safety, and data management to meet team goals.

  • Maintaining relationships with external vendors and providing clear and timely follow-up

  • Providing superior customer service when greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and responding to requests by residents, and team members.

  • Assist with coordination with web development to monitor and update company websites.

  • Assist with organizing company events and occasional travel coordination or arrangements for staff.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Two (2) to Five (5) years relevant office and work experience required

  • Passion for affordable housing and a desire to serve our community with purposeful work

  • Ability to be proficient in multiple softwares (i.e. MailChimp, Yardi, Leonardo 247, Paylocity)

  • Energetic, organized individual who has the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with precise attention to detail, meet deadlines and follow-up in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to handle confidential information with high level of professionalism
