Robert Half Property Manager in Los Angeles, California
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Property Manager in Los Angeles, California. This role primarily involves managing properties, with a specific focus on HUD housing. However, those with general property management experience are also welcomed. This position is within the commercial property management industry.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of properties
• Ensure compliance with HUD housing regulations and standards
• Manage tenant relations including resolving inquiries and complaints
• Maintain accurate records of property activities
• Process applications and screenings for prospective tenants
• Conduct routine property inspections to assess condition and needed repairs
• Coordinate maintenance and repair services for properties
• Implement strategies to maximize rental income and occupancy rates
• Prepare reports on property performance and financials. Requirements • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is required
• Prior experience in Commercial Property Management is necessary
• Comprehensive understanding of property management procedures and best practices is needed
• Proficiency in using property management software and Office Suite is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants and vendors
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple properties efficiently is a must
• Strong organizational and time management skills are needed to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations is required
• Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills are necessary
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team is required
• Willingness to occasionally travel to various property locations as needed
• Demonstrated leadership skills are necessary, with the ability to supervise and guide a team effectively
• Strong financial acumen is needed to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and create financial forecasts
