*Job Description:*

The risk landscape is continuously changing due to market volatility, geopolitical crises, widespread economic changes, regulatory reforms, and cyber threats. As a result, there has been increased pressure from the board of directors and investors to effectively monitor and manage risk. As demands rise and the risk landscape continues to be more complex, organizations are becoming increasingly reliant on the use of custom GRC architectures requiring integrations across application, data layers to effectively identify, mitigate their risk exposure.

As a member of our Risk Technology national practice, you will belong to a network of professionals helping our clients implement technology solutions to enrich and improve decision making, provide visibility and transparency of risk and compliance to stakeholders, and automate manual processes.

*The opportunity*

As our GRC platforming group continues to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, focused on architecture, design, build, and deployment. You will team with respected and experienced professionals to help our clients enhance and simplify their governance, risk, and compliance programs as well as ideate, realize technology agnostic solutions. You will also manage business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.

*Your key responsibilities*

Leveraging your knowledge of IT architecture and application, data platform, you will team across competencies and sectors to develop and deploy innovative custom GRC solutions for our clients. You will lead on-shore and off-shore consultants in project delivery and business development activities, as well as serve as the primary contact to our clients for GRC tech engagements.

*Role Overview:*

We are seeking an experienced IT Architecture and Data Management Senior Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in defining, setting up, and optimizing architecture and data pipelines specifically for risk and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) technologies. You will analyze existing IT environments and, when necessary, assist clients in developing new custom solutions to meet their needs.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Define and implement IT architecture and data pipelines tailored for risk and GRC technologies.

  • Analyze clients' existing IT environments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for data ingestion and normalization.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide customized solutions.

  • Implement automation for data ingestion processes to reduce manual effort and minimize errors.

  • Design systems and processes that can scale with the growing data needs of the organization.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for architecture and data management processes.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Identify and integrate diverse data sources ensuring compatibility and consistency.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT architecture, data engineering, and Risk management – Regulatory - GRC technologies.

  • Solution design to include integration of AI/Gen AI/Microservices for document/data/access management, 3rd party integrations, and cloud environment management and monitoring.

  • Understand solutions architecture design patterns and create solution architectures for client CIO/CTOs/other key stakeholders.

  • Well-versed in multitude of technology platform architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate and others to formulate solution development plans and solution roadmaps.

  • Ability to solution for data integrations and data pipelines, with the additional skills of organizing data into required data bases for traditional rules/ML solutions, vector databases for Gen AI and embeddings, AI monitoring solutions, reporting and overall systems performance.

  • Understanding of Kubernetes based Risk analytics, deployment patterns, and ability to derive custom workflows/analytics from standard analytics services from within Nexus for Risk or to configure 3rd party solutions like Compliance.AI.

  • Experience with python, java, cloud databases (non-columnar) such as Mongo, S3, Dynamics as well as to engineer data pipelines to feed the risk and compliance analytics.

  • Conduct trainings such as Nexus for Risk, Compliance.AI, Azure and AWS.

*Qualifications:*

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 7-10 years of experience in data, AI/ML, GRC, risk technology and solutions.

  • Strong understanding of IT architecture principles and data engineering best practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Mentor team members on technical frameworks as well as technology design patterns.

  • Drive team members towards common project goals, deliverables and documentation.

*Preferred Skills:*

  • Experience with specific GRC tools and platforms.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to risk and compliance.

  • Certification in relevant IT architecture or data management areas

  • Technical certifications: AWS, Azure, AI/ML

  • Big Four, Tech experience is a plus with IT risk, compliance, or security management experience

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $136,900 to $312,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $164,400 to $355,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
