Robert Half Director of Accounting in Loudon, Tennessee

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Accounting in Loudon, Tennessee. This role will oversee managing accounting operations, including accounts payables, accounts receivables, journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, and supporting with special projects. The individual will also be tasked with managing a team of accounting clerks.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of accounting clerks

• Overseeing the accounting for multiple entities

• Handling accounts payables and accounts receivables

• Preparing journal entries and conducting month-end close

• Executing account reconciliations

• Working with Work In Progress (WIP) on multiple projects

• Supporting the Accounting Manager with special projects

• Utilizing accounting software systems and tools such as Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel for various tasks

• Ensuring adherence to auditing and budget processes

• Applying knowledge of balance sheet account reconciliation and budgeting - forecasting.

Requirements • Possession of a University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a Director of Accounting role or a similar leadership position.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, including Quickbooks Online.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Ability to conduct thorough Auditing processes.

• Familiarity with Budget Processes and Budgeting-Forecasting.

• Experience with Journal Entries, Month End Close, and WIP - Work In Progress.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, and Bank Account Reconciliation.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrated ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
