Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky

Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our team situated in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. The selected candidate will be handling credit-related tasks in a fast-paced environment within the telecom industry. This job function is centered around the processing of customer credit applications and maintaining accurate credit records, amongst other duties.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately handle customer credit applications.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly.

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers.

• Perform account reconciliation tasks regularly to ensure financial accuracy.

• Manage and maintain accounts receivable records.

• Handle billing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Apply cash applications as part of the financial process.

• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and QuickBooks Pro to perform tasks and manage data effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections is essential

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections would be advantageous

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary

• Proficiency in Oracle software is required

• Experience in using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro is necessary

• Familiarity with SAP software would be advantageous

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Previous experience in an accounts receivable role would be advantageous

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is necessary

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices is necessary.
