Application Programmer Analyst III. Review, analyze, & modify programming systems including designing, programming, encoding, testing, debugging & installing to support organization’s distributed computer applications using IBM Datastage, MS SQL Server, DB2, Data Warehousing, and Snowflake; take lead role in dealing with users in defining new systems; prepare technical design and program specifications; mentor software developers; and recommend vendor application and development software. A bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, computer applications, computer information systems, math, or mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering and five years’ post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, computer applications, computer information systems, math, or mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering and three years’ post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered are required. Proficiency in using IBM Datastage, MS SQL Server, DB2, Data Warehousing, and Snowflake as shown by five years of experience in these areas is required.
