This is a temporary, full-time position for childcare workers at Skillz 4 Life Childcare, starting on September 30, 2024, and ending on June 30, 2025. The primary responsibilities include providing educational services to children, ensuring their safety and well-being, assisting with daily activities, and supporting the development of social and cognitive skills.Duties: - Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care.- Assist children with daily routines such as dressing, eating, and hygiene.- Plan and implement activities that support the educational and emotional development of children.- Provide therapeutic support to children with special needs.- Communicate with parents and caregivers about children’s progress and needs.- Maintain a clean and safe environment.Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required.- Clean background check with no accounts of child abuse or neglect.- Negative TB test result required.- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.- On-the-job training will be provided.Work Hours: - Full-time position, 40 hours per week.- Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.- Overtime may be available at a rate of 1.5 times the regular hourly wage.Wage: - The wage is $14.05 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly wage.Workweek and Pay Frequency: - The employer uses a single workweek to compute wages due.- Workers will be paid bi-weekly, consistent with the prevailing practice in intended employment.Board, Lodging, and Other Facilities: - Optional housing is available to workers for USD 450 on the 15th and 30th of each month or USD 900 per month due on the 1st of each month, which includes rent and all utilities (water, electricity, and internet). Workers may choose to secure their own lodging, and the employer will assist in finding suitable accommodation if needed.The employer will make all required deductions from the worker’s paycheck.
