Title : Inventory Analyst

Level : 6

Hiring Manager : Warehouse Maturation Manager

Context/Scope :

This role is responsible for helping handle and control the receipt, accuracy, and usage of raw materials as they are converted into finished goods! This includes glass, labels, packaging materials, aging barrels, and liquid. This role is constantly balancing multiple priorities and inventories across a shift, while collaborating with multiple departments. This role requires the ability to quickly analyze data and make decisions that will have an impact on the plant’s schedule adherence and quality.

Purpose :

The Inventory Analyst will facilitate and manage the following:

  • Perform goods receipts of inbound raw materials and packaging.

  • Ensure inventory items are kept in their accurate locations and labeled accurately.

  • Review daily inventory variance reports. Follow-up and troubleshoot discrepancies.

  • Perform, audit, and analyze cycle counts of raw material items and finished goods.

  • Write up and transact approved inventory adjustments from cycle counting activities.

  • Maintain files for all items that are tracked and cycle counted. Analyze adjustment trends over time.

  • Provide daily, weekly, and/or monthly feedback to management on inventory accuracy levels. Makes recommendations for any needed corrective actions.

  • Assist in developing processes, procedures, and training for continuously improving inventory plantwide.

  • Assist with Warehouse and Shipping operations during vacation coverage.

  • Receipt accuracy.

  • Inventory accuracy.

  • Cycle count compliance.

  • Optimize inventory storage.

  • Closing out of daily production orders for the site.

  • SAP inventory reconciliation for materials and finished goods

  • Annual stock take lead.

  • Understands and demonstrates the Company’s core values.

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience Required :

  • Associates degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or relevant field.

  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Solid knowledge of data analysis and inventory management.

  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent data management and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build processes and systems in new and or changing environment.
