Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Responsible for all areas of equipment repairs and preventive maintenance of production equipment. Responsible for supervision of maintenance employees.

Responsibilities

• Assure all equipment is maintained in a condition capable of producing to set production and QA standards.

• Conduct weekly maintenance meetings.

• Work with production machine manufacturers or material vendor representatives in the plant.

• Oversee the daily activities of the Machine Shop and Parts Room.

• Train maintenance personnel on all plant equipment.

• Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures.

• Interface between Maintenance Manager and all mechanics.

• Monitor production floor data collection systems.

• Perform periodic reviews of Lockout Plan and update as needed.

• Perform training of maintenance personnel.

• Serve as a member of the Plant Management Team.

• Directly supervise all employees in the Maintenance Department.

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Skills

• Maintenance technician experience (5+ years)

• Electrical and Mechanical experience

• Leadership skills

• Ability to supervise and control a team

• Blueprint reading

• PLC troubleshooting

• Preventive maintenance

• Troubleshooting

• Safety protocols

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00
