Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

Ensure patients' prescriptions and applications are entered precisely and in a timely manner.

Work site

This is a fully on-site position

Shift: 8:30am to 5pm M-F.

Essential Duties:

• Ensure all prescription information is entered accurately and in a timely manner.

• Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.

• Accountable for making sure that patient name and date of birth match up on prescriptions.

• Accountable for checking patient history for any duplicate orders and follow the proper procedure

Qualifications

Registered with the State of KY • High School Diploma or GED • One year minimum of pharmacy experience
