UPS Worldwide Forwarding Inc. seeks Senior Software Development Engineer in Louisville, KY:Job Duties: Provides input and support for and performs full system life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) Participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. Provide input to applications development project plans and integrations. Collaborate with teams and support emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. Provide knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. Provide input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects. Utilizes experience with Airline Maintenance to support projects critical to UPS airline operations. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to UPS offices is required 50% of the time.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
