We are looking for an Accounting and Administrative Assistant to join our team in our Loveland, CO office. JFT will accept applications until this position is filled.

Function:

In this multifaceted role, you will support our engineering and manufacturing operations by managing purchasing activities, assisting with accounting tasks, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, basic accounting principles, and excellent organizational skills.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Purchasing: Submit purchase orders to vendors, assist with setting up vendor payment terms, monitor and follow up on delivery status. Accounts Payable: AP entry, vendor record management, coordinate weekly AP run. Accounts Receivable: Create and send project invoices, follow up on outstanding invoices and record receipts. General Accounting: Bank account reconciliation, sales and use tax preparation, GL account reconciliations, credit card reconciliation and receipt tracking, monthly journal entries, audit preparation assistance. Administrative: General administrative support, track IT equipment and other assets, assist Document Control with scanning, logging and filing, coordinate facilities maintenance and manage providers, manage office supplies. Special projects as needed. Typical Working Conditions:

Office environment with occasional exposure to the fabrication/machine shops.

JFT is transitioning to a 9/80 schedule in September. This position is primarily in-office with some hybrid flexibility.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work on a computer (standing or sitting) for most of the day and operate standard office equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with team members, customers and vendors. Must be able to lift and carry items, typically under 25lbs. Must be able to unpack boxes, stock supplies, scan and file documents. Qualifications and Experience:

Associates degree or higher preferred but will consider experience in lieu of degree. 2-4 years of purchasing, accounting and office administration experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail and able to see how the details influence the larger process. Ability to problem solve, ask questions and follow through. Strong communication skills and able to coordinate with multiple departments. Able to work with sensitive information with discretion. Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP software experience a plus. Experience working for engineering, manufacturing or government contracting firms a plus. This position may require the incumbent to work with export-controlled items.
