ManpowerGroup Copywriter/Proofreader - Part-Time in Lowell, Michigan

Our client in Ada, MI is seeking a Copywriter/Proofreader to join their team. As a Copywriter/Proofreader, you will be part of the Marketing/Communications department supporting various brand initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Copywriter/Proofreader - Part-time (hybrid/remote)

Location: Ada, MI

Pay Range: $35/hr. approximiitly 20 hours/week

What's the Job?

  • Responsible for the tone and voice of communications for assigned products and brands.

  • Develop written content for all forms of media, ensuring alignment with marketing goals set by brand management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand Managers and Art Directors, to produce high-quality materials.

  • Ensure all copy adheres to proper spelling, grammar, and applicable style and brand guides.

  • Maintain and develop written communication style guides, communicating changes to relevant users.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in a marketing or e-commerce environment.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of writing samples across digital platforms.

  • Proficiency in adhering to style guides and maintaining consistency in communication.

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that resonates with a variety of audiences.

  • 5-7 years of experience writing for B2B or B2C brands across channels and media.

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
