Job Summary: We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team and provide the following skills:

• Unloading vegetables
• Washing, inspecting, sorting, grading vegetables
• Packing boxes and palletizing
• Operating packaging equipment
• Loading trucks
• Must be able to lift 50lbs (infrequent)

Essential Skills Required:

• Energetic with a willingness to work.
• Experience with pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks (not required)
• Pride over a job well done.
• Works well in a team
• Quick learner

• Willingness to stay until the job is done.

   

Pay:     $17.20/hour to start

Schedule: This position currently offers full time employment 6 days/ 60+ hours during peak season through November. These dates are not concrete, and we ask that any applicant be somewhat flexible with annual start and stop dates. Peak season is approximately the middle of July through October.

Spiral Path Farm is a 300-acre diversified organic vegetable farm dedicated to growing the healthiest vegetables possible while enhancing the soil.  For over 25 years we have believed that vibrant soils produce the best tasting and healthiest vegetables.  We currently sell our vegetables through Wegmans supermarkets, our CSA, and farmers markets in the DC metro area.  Spiral Path Farm has built a dedicated team of employees that share our vision and are the backbone of our success.  During the peak season we have approximately 60 employees, over half of which are local.  We are seeking to further build our team with a motivated individual that shares our mission and can help manage our CSA.
