Position Description:

Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Budget and logistics management (including payment of stipends and travel for visiting speakers; awarding internal fellowships to TTU faculty and graduate students, reconciling all procurement card purchases for unit; arranging catering for events).

  • Event support (including handling A/V setup for speakers, coordinating catering, renting event space, being present at events for incidental support).

  • Office and general support (including answering phone calls, general inquiry emails, keeping offices supplies updated, "manning the store").

  • Promotion and digital presence management (including updating social media and website, designing and editing digital newsletter, ordering and posting print promotions for events).

  • Must work well to deadlines, follow through to completion with all assigned tasks.

  • Clear communication skills.

  • Fiscally responsible with institutional budget.
