Providence Director Finance in Lubbock, Texas

Providence is calling a Director, Finance who will:

  • Be responsible for the financial oversight of assigned ministries, including:

  • Monitoring financial performance

  • Variance reporting

  • Supporting the achievement of productivity and supply chain targets

  • Participating in ministry level management meetings

  • Serve as a key liaison to accounts payable and payroll process, in support of the managers and senior leaders throughout the ministries

  • Assist in facilitation of capital projects as prioritized and approved through regional and system processes

  • Assist with development of ministry budgets

  • Provide assistance as needed to the ministry senior management team and departmental leaders as they work to achieve annual and long term strategies

  • Be Responsible for:

  • Development and management of dashboards

  • Achievement of internal audit recommendations

  • Leading special projects as assigned for both the ministry and the region

  • Review of monthly financial statements

  • Partnership with the PSJH accounting team to accurately reflect economics representative of operational and clinical services

Providence is open to hiring an applicant from anywhere within the United States with the exception of the below listed states, however, please note that the selected applicant is required to reside in Lubbock, TX within 1-3 months of an established start date:

  • Ohio

  • Pennsylvania

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

  • This role is an in-office position and will report into the office daily as scheduled

  • If you are located in another state upon start, you will be required to travel for onsite presence throughout the work week

  • This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:

  • Texas: Lubbock

  • Work Week: Monday - Friday

  • Work Shift: Day

Relocation:

  • Please note that applicants that do not reside within a daily commutable distance of Lubbock, Texas will be required to relocate within a 1-3 month period from an established start date

  • Until relocation is completed an onsite presence / travel to the locations supported will be required on a weekly basis as defined by manager and departmental needs

  • Providence is willing to provide a relocation package to support relocation to Lubbock, Texas

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field of study

  • 8+ years of experience within a leadership role

  • 10+ years of closely related work experience (Ex. Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, Compensation)

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • HFMA or FACHE

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
