Actalent is currently seeking lab technicians to assist with quality seed testing on incoming raw materials and finished products for a leading crop science company in Lubbock, TX starting September 2024.

Job Summary:

• Perform visual quality inspection on seed samples

• Perform basic laboratory tests- pH, viscosity, protein count, moisture testing, and titrations

• Perform warm and cool germination testing

• Perform purity analysis of seeds

• Perform seed counts

• Weighing seeds and cotton fibers

• Pay - $16hr

Ho urs:

7am-5:30pm and 5pm-3:30am (Rotating Shifts)

*Must be open and able to work any day of the week (Sunday-Saturday) - Will only be scheduled 50 hours/week

*Must be open to work 1st and 2nd shift
