Position Description:

Performs advanced inspections using technical drawings and specifications in all phases of construction with regard to quality, quantity of materials, installation methods used and conformity to specifications and recognized industry standards.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Identify Mission Critical Buildings / Systems and Audits.

  • Coordinates audits with BMC & Engineering Services.

  • Priorities should include Critical Areas + Strategic impact on: Health & Safety, ADA, Mission Impact, System Impact -- Probability of Failure.

  • Administers the preventive maintenance program. Works closely with shops to identify, establish and update preventive maintenance programs.

  • Organizes and implements preventive maintenance programs. Identifies equipment requiring new programs. Checks mechanical rooms against program information for existence/implementation. Enters data for new programs and updates current programs.

  • Conducts walk-through of new buildings for program needs to identify type of equipment, number of equipment items and shops requiring new programs.

  • Sets goals/deadlines for shops and tracks their inventories for incomplete or incorrect information. Physically inspects equipment to find correct information. Notifies appropriate superintendent of incomplete or incorrect equipment inventories.
