This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Computer Program Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Outage Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. This position is to support the Products and Innovation development of new technology. This technology is made up of either existing commercial grade products that are refined and tested to ensure operability in our Nuclear industry; or full product development based on new ideas withing the group. The business strategy is about filling a product need or refine of current process to help assist a more streamline workforce through incorporation of AI technology to support process improvements. Your work will include:
Supporting innovation and streamlining internal process change.
Developing programs or systems to increase productivity, efficiency, and simplification by using computer programming/code that will be integrated into daily functions.
Generating an introduction of higher-level machine learning and AI experiences that are incorporated into proven processes, guidelines and procedures.
T his job entails understanding the pain-points of the business and developing creative and innovative solutions using the highest level of computer programming available.
Ability to create efficient integrations using C#, C++, Typescript or equivalent.
Ability to help gather requirements and implement user interfaces.
Implement technology without introducing company or ethical risk.
Ability to effectively communicate progress and work with customers.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $73,000 - $96,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
