Job Title: Lead Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanic to oversee and maintain heavy equipment, primarily focusing on CAT and Komatsu brands. The successful candidate will lead a team of 2 to 3 mechanics, both in-shop and on-site at various job locations. The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage team operations while ensuring top performance and safety standards.

Equipment the candidate will need experience fixing and maintaining:

  • Excavators

  • Sweepers

  • Crushers

  • Wheel Loaders

Hard Skills

  • Experience in hydraulics

  • diagnostics

  • electrical systems of loaders, excavators, screeners, conveyers, crushers

  • Welding

Soft Skills

  • Leadership

  • Team management

  • Effective communication

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.

Work Environment

In-shop and on-site at various job locations
