Provides indirect care in the Emergency Department; meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff; is responsible for completing requisitions, computer entry, performing clerical and receptionist duties, requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services or consults; maintains contact with waiting patients/families; completes the Emergency Department log. Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Experience in a medical setting preferred

• Good organizational skills, attention to detail

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

• Ability to multi-task necessary

• Great communication skills necessary
