RESPONSIBILITIES: The women\'s soccer head coach is responsible for leading all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division I women\'s soccer program including, but not limited to: budget management, recruiting, fundraising, supervision of staff, a commitment to student-athlete health and welfare, and directing skill instruction and development. Must fully commit to all NCAA, The Ohio Valley Conference, and Western Illinois University Athletics Department policies and procedures, and will be expected to work cooperatively with all constituencies and campus units.

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor\'s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university;
  • 2 years of collegiate soccer coaching experience;
  • Demonstrated experience of recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes;
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master\'s Degree;
  • NCAA soccer playing or coaching experience.

For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
