Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager we are seeking will be responsible for the overall project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and successful completion of the wastewater projects within the desired time, schedule, and quality. The Project Manager will provide technical direction ensuring compliance with quality standards and applicable laws and regulations and oversee the project documentation process. The Project Manager must be proficient in contract agreements at both the owner and subcontractor levels.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field

  • Proven experience in Project Management, with a minimum of two years in a similar role (2-5 years experience)

  • Direct experience in Wastewater infrastructure projects.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex information effectively

  • Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Procore, and other enterprise software platforms

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining budget, quality, and scheduling deadlines

  • Ability to work in both field and office settings on a regular basis. Fieldwork may include adverse weather, loud working conditions, and high levels of activity

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Work Environment

The position is based 100% in South-East Michigan with no travel outside of Michigan. The company has over 150 employees, with 15 working in the office and the majority in the field. The role involves 70% office work and 30% onsite. The Project Manager will engage in constant coordination with superintendents and foremen regarding daily activities, manage material deliveries to the project site, and coordinate with subcontractors. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $160000.00
