Job Title: Senior Fire Protection EngineerJob Description

The Senior Fire Protection Engineer position is a technical role focused on project execution for a variety of multi- and single-discipline facility design projects. The Senior Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for performing multiple aspects of fire protection engineering services on multi-discipline building design projects of small to large scope for commercial and government facilities, as well as single discipline fire protection engineering projects of small to large scope. Additionally, the Senior Fire Protection Engineer will provide leadership to the fire protection team and represent the Department Director as required.

Hard Skills

• Licensed Fire Protection Engineer (PE)

• Experience with projects in the Architecture & Engineering space

• 8+ years in the Fire Protection Industry

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Macon, Georgia and some days remote.

Work Environment

Total of 4 FP Engineers on the main team, including an intermediate designer with 3 years of experience who is not licensed and a 25-year experienced engineer who started in Mechanical but understands Fire Protection. Work environment offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, very flexible. Can sit out of any of their offices in Macon, GA; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Asheville, NC; Johnson City, TN; Virginia Beach, VA; Richmond, VA; Roanoke, VA; Vienna, VA.
