Twin Rivers Paper Company is a leader in the production of specialty papers. We are pleased to announce that our Madawaska Operation is seeking a committed individual to join our team and grow their career as a full-timeMaintenance Planner.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Planner is responsible to:

  • Perform safety audits, attend safety meetings and safety talks and work closely with safety representatives to improve mill safety.
  • Prepare work packages for submitted work orders.
  • Ensure that equipment history is updated on completed work orders.
  • Plan and organize preventative maintenance, repairs, basic care program and shutdowns.
  • Ensure that employees have proper tools, materials and resources to accomplish tasks efficiently.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, repairs and shutdowns and ensure resources are available to complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that repairs are scheduled in cooperation with production and works in conjunction with the production group to plan shutdowns and basic care.
  • Evaluate demands and coordinate priorities for the work to be done with supervisors and production personnel to ensure the best possible support for the operation.
  • Ensure Management Operating Systems are followed daily.
  • Attend morning departmental meetings, safety, staff and other meetings as required.
  • Deal with a variety of outside service representatives and vendors to ensure adequate costing, delivery and quality of services and work closely with the purchasing department to achieve the best cost and quality for supplies required for the areas under the incumbents responsibility.
  • Replace maintenance and E&I supervisor during vacations and shutdowns.
  • Be on call for maintenance, for a one-week period, on a 10-week rotation basis.
  • Have an awareness of the Food Safety Policy, GMPs, HACCP principles and Food Safety Standard and report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s). Designated personnel shall have defined responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
