Description A premier legal department is seeking an ambitious and talented Contract Administrator who wants to expand their legal career. If you are a driven self-starter with a real passion for the legal industry, this may be the Contract Administrator position for you. The long-term contract / temporary Contract Administrator job is located in Madison, Connecticut.

What you get to do every single day

• Execute company contract execution policy and procedures

• Put together contractual provisions and administering contract proposals

• Add contract details into company database

• Handle both internal and external requests for status of contracts

• Facilitate and track the approval and execution process

• Make reports from within the contracts database on an as-needed basis- Produce and preserve contracts database

• Review contracts to ensure completeness

• Handle contract execution processes

• Lead the complete life cycle of company contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

• Negotiate terms of agreements for contracts Requirements - Hunger to discover new ideas and learn quickly

• Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

• Proficiency with diverse computer applications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Legal Contracts

• Foundational knowledge in contracts

• Draft Contracts experience highly desired

• Adeptness in Negotiate Contracts

• Commercial Contracts experience

• Command of contract administration

• Contracting experience

• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines

• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

• Relevant experience in the specific field or related area

• Exceptional organizational skills to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines
