Two Shifts:

7am - 5:30 pm

2:30 pm - Midnight

Reports To: Sanitation Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Communicate with Sanitation Manager to determine department and machinery to be cleaned and necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Checks to ensure that machinery to be cleaned is in the lockout/tagout mode.
• Wears protective gloves, eye protection, and other necessary personal protective equipment as needed for a particular job.
• Removes parts and dismantles equipment as required for proper cleaning.
• Cleans floors, wall, apparatus, and any other materials to ensure production areas and equipment is properly sanitized and ready for the start of production.
• Disposes of cleanup residue in proper container according to plant safety procedures.
• Notifies Manager upon completion of cleaning so that machine can be put back online.
• Maintains cleaning equipment in proper working condition.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet our business needs.
