JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Join the Dining & Culinary Services team in University Housing as an Administrative Assistant! We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused individual to support our Dining & Culinary Services administrative operations. The person hired into this role will use their strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills to provide administrative support across Dining & Culinary Services. They will often act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and parents with questions about dining operations and initiatives, will assist with recruitment and onboarding for new dining staff, and will directly support the Director of Dining & Culinary Services. Responsibilities: Provides general administrative support, while exercising discretion, to the administrator of a department or division of the institution or to the administrator of multiple institution programs, services, and activities. 15% Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations 15% Serves as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups, provides organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums 10% Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, and reviews work done by others 15% Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures 25% Develops, implements, and maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures 10% Assists in maintaining the menu management and point of sale systems 10% Operates campus Wiscard outlet Tasks: Supervises and guides student workers Coordinates and supports various Dining program initiatives Demonstrates and role models exceptional customer service Develops and maintains administrative program support to the Dining department Maintains supplies and equipment for administrative offices Performs duties in a high-volume, dynamic, student residential dining environment Provides support and...
