JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for developing and maintaining application strategies, architectures and procedures to meet current and future corporate and divisional objectives. Establishes partnerships and builds influence with business unit leaders, develops knowledge of business strategy, assists with defining technology investments and initiatives, and manages client expectations at the highest level. Oversees the development or adoption of technology solutions that improve efficiency while reducing costs; ensures technology investments achieve planned benefits and return on investment targets. Responsible for bringing forward insight into the direction of technologies, trends, and tools as it applies to business solutions and business goals. Telecommuting/work from home is allowed. Position requires a bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field. Additionally, position requires 10 years of experience in managing full stack engineering teams by coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments, and establishing performance & development plans; 10 years of experience in API development and exposure- both REST and SOAP web services, XML/JSON data transmission; Extensive knowledge and understanding of technical infrastructure, application development and related technologies; Knowledge and understanding of business ecosystems, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), micro services, and artificial intelligence; Knowledge and understanding of enterprise governance structures and processes; Knowledge and understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management; Experience blending business/industry knowledge with technology trends to provide business with appropriate technology solution alternatives; Experience leading with proven ability to envision, strategize, and execute key divisional plans and goals; Knowledge and understanding of IT application principles, processes and methodologies; Knowledge & understanding of agile development methodologies; Experience leading remote and distributed teams; Telecommuting/work from home is allowed. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: www.amfam.com
