YOUR ROLE: As the Systems Technician of the Audio-Visual Department, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a cutting-edge AV and connectivity infrastructure across our campus. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, motivation, and project management to ensure completed projects and current systems operate as intended. You will be asked to provide seamless customer service throughout the organization through AV solutions. CORE DUTIES: 1. Research, evaluate, implement, and support corporate AV systems. Support of organization\'s business requirements through technical strategies of AV systems. 2. Develop specialized expertise, serve as the subject matter expert, and be prepared to make recommendations for AV systems. Advise management in all areas of needs, objectives, and capabilities, including anticipation of future requirements and potential problems. 3. Assist in large scale and complex AV deployment projects, advise on infrastructure design and system integrations. 4. Manage relationships with AV equipment and software vendors, contractors, end users, and building stakeholders. 5. Setup, test, and commission AV equipment. Coordinate and schedule required preventative maintenance. 6. Administer and provide support of AV hardware and software platforms including configuration, asset management of AV systems, and knowledgebase documentation. This may include occasional support outside of normal business hours. 7. Advanced troubleshooting and customer service skills, including the ability to listen, interpret and explain computer and AV related concepts in non-technical terms. 8. Thoroughly log software and equipment issues, record status and close out ticket when problems are resolved. Resolve technical incidents expeditiously. 9.
