COMPUTER CONSULTANTS INTERNATIONAL Business Analyst-Mainframe Application in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with 10 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Senior role that has responsibility supporting the analysis and documentation of asset inventories for existing software and systems, with an emphasis on existing mainframe based applications. This role will be assisting with system transformation efforts ensuring that business processes are properly mapped to supporting system assets; applications, data sets, interfaces, batch processes, and reports. When inventories are identified, this role will work with subject matter experts, SME\'s, from the business and technology teams to document links between the assets and business processes. Additionally this role may be asked to work with SME\'s to document important meta data associated with the assets that will streamline system transformation from existing mainframe based systems to a web based system. Good oral and written communication skills are required. This position currently offers the option to work up to 100% remote, this could change to 100% in house. On-site at the Madison Yards Way, 4822 Madison Yards Way, Madison, Wisconsin. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATION MUST HAVE 10+ years of experience with business systems analysis. 10+ years of experience documenting complex business and software systems. Demonstrated communication experience, working with business and technical teams. Experience with CE Access Experience creating and maintaining architecture diagrams. Mainframe development experience utilizing CA-GEN Mainframe development experience in Cobol Mainframe batch processing using JCL, TSO, ISPF Web service development experience SOAP and/or REST NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: Familiarity with CE Access tools that allow insight into CA-GEN objects for impact analysis, identifying integrations and data sets utilized by mainframe-based application systems. CICS Tech Writing, with an emphasis on communicating between the business and technical needs of a cross functional project team.
