Position Purpose: Plans, conceptualizes, configures, and builds solutions that solve Claims Configuration and Provider Data challenges within the business by using technological tools or programs. Conducts research and requirement gathering to determine customer needs and drive strategy and oversee the development process from an operational perspective. Acts as a subject matter expert providing advice, support and guidance as needed and serves as a mentor to colleagues. Must have the ability to be self-sufficient.

• Provide solutions to Provider Data and Claims Configuration challenges such as new implementations and process improvements

• Design workflows showing current state versus future state

• Writes code for software programs and applications, working with classes, using inheritance and virtualization, and following best programming practices.

• Performs complex research and advanced analysis; find/create best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems; identify the best method or tool to develop solutions.

• Collaborates with and mentor peers on development and solution strategy; regular code reviews and pull requests; team partnership to identify efficient and effective scalable product solutions.

• Leads and facilitate meetings to conduct requirements gathering; maintain communication with stakeholders during solution development.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Healthcare experience a plus. Experience with one or more of the following: SQL, Claims Configuration, Provider Data, Visio or other process workflow software

Pay Range: $84,300.00 - $151,700.00 per year
