The Construction Project Manager I plays a key role in supporting the construction management team by:
Facilitating clear communication of project requirements, organizing internal and external meetings, and interpreting construction documents.
Driving project success through effective cost control and proactive risk management.
Maintaining project quality by preparing monthly reports, reviewing subcontractor scopes of work, assessing shop drawings, and resolving punch list and warranty items.
Delivering on client commitments by managing project schedules and safety initiatives.
Building and strengthening relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
At least one year of construction field experience (which may include internships or co-op experience).
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with Procore is a plus.
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
A high level of initiative and a passion for continuous learning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
