JOB REQUIREMENTS: Electric Motor Mechanic Company Description: Electro Tech, Inc. is an electric motor sales and service business inclusive of many major motor manufacturers. Repairs include AC and DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, and servo motors. Some of our services include, but are not limited to balancing, rewinding, motor redesigning, welding, machining, and bearing replacement. We are committed to providing our customers with exceptional products and customer service and are looking for an Electric Motor Mechanic to join our team. Job Description: Diagnose incoming units, disassemble, repair, assemble, and prepare items for shipment Perform mechanical rebuilds on rotating apparatus repairs like electric motors, pumps, and fans Measure and record data using tables, dial indicators, micrometers, and vibration meters Use multi-meters, meggers, and measure winding resistance, RTD and heater resistances, and mechanical fits and clearances Scrap motors as needed Maintain work area organization and cleanliness- includes sweeping shop floor, wiping down work bench and tools, keeping tools organized and in their correct places Other projects that the manager may have around the shop Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated Interested in learning how to repair electrical apparatuses Mechanically inclined Does well working with others and in a team environment The ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for the entirety of the shift Electric motor comprehension and understanding- 1 years (Preferred) Worked within mechanical or electrical solutions business- 2 years (Preferred) Experience working with overhead hoists and forklifts The ability to use hand tools, drills, grinders, torque wrenches, and a variety of other tools in relation to motor repair. **We are willing to train the right candidate** Education: High School Diploma, or Equivalent Company Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Accident/Critical Illness/Short Term Disability Universal Life Paid time off Paid Holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: Based on Experience Pay Frequency: Biweekly Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: 1000 Jonathon Drive, Madison, WI 53713 ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: JULIE.MANSKER@ETI-MOTORS.COM Apply Online: WWW.ETI-MOTORS.COM
