MSA PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Engineering Technician Civil (2356) in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview MSA has an opportunity for an Engineering Technician Civil (Traffic Collection). The primarily role of this position is to assist with transportation data collection and analysis within various communities in Wisconsin. This position will offer hands-on project exposure to transportation engineering. The projects you\'ll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve. This position is based in our Madison WI office location. The work you will do Conduct field investigations as required by reports or studies Field work is expected about 40% of the time, weather dependant Use Autodesk design software for plans and exhibits. Traffic counting, GIS reporting, or other project data collection Assist team with Traffic modeling and Design Plans Complete reports and documentation on traffic data collection Construction field inspection/staking operations Measure and compute item quantities installed on the project ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience: A desire to learn more about transportation engineering projects in a consulting industry A valid driver\'s license required Willingness to travel as needed for projects Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required Previous engineering related education preferred This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
