JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Interdisciplinary Training Program for Predoctoral Research in the Education Sciences is one of a network of pre-doctoral training programs funded by the U.S. Department of Education\'s Institute of Education Sciences. The program\'s goal is to prepare a new generation of outstanding education scholars through training in methods of causal inference and supporting translational research activities through internship opportunities. The program seeks to build a community of interdisciplinary education scholars through a weekly seminar and other related activities. Fellows and associated faculty and researchers come from academic departments in education, social work, and across the social sciences. The community includes doctoral students in economics, political science, psychology, social welfare, sociology, educational leadership & policy analysis, educational policy studies, and educational psychology. The project website can be found at https://itp.wceruw.org/ The Graduate Program Manager will manage an interdisciplinary graduate training program for doctoral students funded by the Institute of Education Sciences within the United States Department of Education. The position involves extensive contact with graduate students and faculty from multiple campus units (in the School of Education, the College of Letters & Sciences, and the Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work). The position includes both program management duties and grant management duties. Responsibilities: Manages the administrative activities of graduate degree program(s) and/or certificate(s). Performs activities which may include: recruitment, admissions, new student orientation, academic advising, monitoring of progress towards the degree, course and/or enrollment management, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, funding, course and/or program assessment, and academic program review.
