JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Role Snapshot Our team is seeking a highly capable Performance Analyst who is looking to develop their finance and analysis skills within a challenging yet exciting and supportive atmosphere. We directly support the Health Plan business in identifying and evaluating growth opportunities and driving efficiency, whether it\'s planning for next year\'s budget, working with our leadership team on growth initiatives, or developing cost-saving strategies. As a member of our team, you will be a trusted strategic partner in coordination with the WPS Health Plan leadership team. In addition to target setting and helping the leadership team understand the business\'s financial results, you will provide key decision support to help solve the business\'s biggest challenges. What you will do Design and develop analytical support to senior management to support key business decisions: Health Plan performance reporting and analysis, including financial and operational Strategic short- and long-term forecasting and planning, in partnership with the Enterprise Strategy and FP&A teams Financial modeling Identify opportunities for and lead efforts on improving the analytical capabilities of the team and maximizing process efficiency Partner with leaders of increasing seniority, including Executive leaders, to manage and improve the performance of the health plan business Effectively communicate and serve as an advocate for optimal performance on key success factors Ad-hoc analysis to support executive decision making Development of junior staff This opportunity is the right one for you if you: Are skilled at building quantitative models and interpreting results Are good at telling a story and can explain complex topics tailored to the audience Create succinct and logically structured communications Are self-motivated/driven/intellectually curious Enjoy taking ownership of deliverables and creating value-added analyses, particularly in grey spaces Are a skilled influencer and exhibit growing strength in identifying key insights and recommendations to management Have innovative instincts and problem-solving skills to develop and implement performance improvement methods What will I gain from this role?
