American Family Insurance - Corporate IT Risk Management Lead Analyst (Flex Office/Home) in Madison, Wisconsin

Position Compensation Range:

$95,000.00 - $161,000.00

The Risk Management Lead Analyst defines and executes the enterprise risk management framework for the enterprise or business areas across the organization. You will develop and communicate a strategic and objective view of enterprise risks within the context of AmFam Group. You will report to the Senior Manager, Risk Management.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034; Nashville, TN 37214

Primary Accountabilities

  • You will independently identify and analyze risks to the organization utilizing a strong understanding of the Enterprise’s business, operating structure and the insurance industry and adjacent industries.

  • You will strategize and innovate ERM Framework processes to mature the enterprise risk management program.

  • You will lead the most complex risk assessment, management and monitoring activities.

  • You will be the resident risk management expert; providing consultative services including risk identification and management.

  • You will develop and monitors processes and tools consistent with the enterprise view of risk and risk tolerance goals.

  • You will lead cross-departmental team efforts.

  • You will develop techniques, policies and procedures for conducting and reporting, risk assessments, analysis and/or compliance audits.

Qualifications

  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) preferred

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of IT risk and control frameworks.

  • Demonstrated experience conducting IT risk and control assessments.

  • Demonstrated experience presenting at the Senior

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of risk management methods, standards, processes, governance models, and industry standard risk analysis approaches, specifically IT Risk Management and/or Information Systems Auditing.

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of insurance, industry trends and adjacencies.

  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating group discussions.

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects to their completion.
