You will manage the electrical engineering discipline staff and design processes within the Project Delivery Group (PDG). You will also serve as Design Engineer on assigned projects. Job Responsibilities: Application of Knowledge of Design Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of new processes and products and stays current with design and construction technology and methods/trends Actively participates in the development and maintenance of design standards, technical details, standard specifications, checklists, and production procedures for the delivery group discipline. Reviews and enforces compliance with standards Recommends information for in-house resource centers, libraries, publications, codes, standards, testing equipment and similar materials relating to the discipline Assists Chief Electrical Engineer in review and selection of discipline-specific analysis and modeling software Design Participates in the development of group and corporate standards and specifications committees Keeps apprised of new technologies and assists in the incorporation of the new technologies into the A/E practice and discipline design standards Coordinates work with other disciplines. Performs interdisciplinary coordination checks to minimize deficiencies, errors and omissions in drawings and specifications Signs and seals design documents when assigned as Professional of Record. Maintains ethics and professionalism. Provides leadership in the implementation of corporate quality processes Complies with state regulations regarding professional registrations Assures adherence to drawing production strategy and the utilization of the corporate design standards and specifications Responsible to produce well-organized, finished drawings of good appearance, accuracy, clarity and correctness Writes discipline specifications for assigned projects Assures adherence within the group to the discipline quality plan and procedures Construction Support Establishes procedures for assuring design and construction Quality standards.
