Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment including fabrication equipment, lasers, presses, robots, automated conveyor lines, thermoforming machines, and foam forming machines.

• Conduct minor welding and fabrication work.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V and PLC systems (primarily Allen Bradley and some Siemens).

• Assist with special projects as needed.

• Provide your own basic tools; the company will supply the more expensive tools.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician.

• Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience with electrical repairs and troubleshooting up to 480V.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

• PLC troubleshooting experience.

• 2-year technical degree.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance.

• Capability to perform minor welding and fabrication.

• Familiarity with industrial equipment repair.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, Wisconsin

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00

Direct Hire

Very large, clean, automated and climate controlled facility - always 72 degrees!

Will pay for schooling

$1.50 premium for 2nd shift

$2.50 for 3rd shift

Pay scale; $27-37/hr before premium
