We have a new opportunity to join our dynamic Madison team as a Manufacturing Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for mechanical, optical and/or electrical component assembling tasks for Optical Microscopes for life science imaging applications. This position will work closely with final system QA/QC and manufacturing engineering teams to successfully deliver quality products and subassemblies. Responsibilities Build and integrate sub-assemblies instructions and assembly drawings Build and integrate sub-assemblies instructions and assembly drawings Test assemblies and sub-systems by running electrical/mechanical tests on devices to ensure standards are achieved Execute written SOPs and work instructions Debug assemblies or systems in cooperation with production team or engineering Work with manufacturing engineering to alter/improve assembly instructions Small/intricate assembly tasks Maintain a clean work environment Qualifications Experience using of basic mechanical tools and electrical testing tools required Good mechanical and electronic aptitude required, along with exposure to a variety of hand/mechanical tools Basic familiarity with a personal computer Familiarity with reading assembly drawings to build assemblies Candidates must have an eye for detail and capable of following precise...
