Iconica is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer Intern to join our team for summer 2025! In this role, you’ll collaborate with Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Design Engineers, focusing primarily on plumbing system design, including domestic water, sanitary/vent, and storm systems. Your experience will involve:

• Performing design calculations and ensuring code compliance.

• Developing schematic designs, design development, and construction documents.

• Preparing specifications.

• Assisting with design coordination across disciplines and with architects.

• Conducting site inspections and observing construction progress.

• Reviewing shop drawings.

  Qualified candidates will have the following:

• Enrollment in an Architectural or Mechanical Engineering program.

• Previous internship experience in design-build or construction (preferred).

• Familiarity with Revit or BIM360 (preferred).

• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities or student organizations.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.

• High initiative and passion for learning.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
