Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Technical Project Manager that will encompasses a range of responsibilities related to project management in applications and data realms.
Responsibilities
• Overseeing 1-3 small to medium-sized projects, focusing on applications or data
• Utilizing Jira as the primary tool for managing project boards and tracking work progress
• Ensuring comprehensive completion of both functional and non-functional tasks as per project and process requirements
• Implementing both Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies in project management
• Conducting business analysis to identify areas of improvement and to ensure project success
• Adhering to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) throughout project management
• Collaborating with team members including Scrum Masters, Digital Analysts, Business Systems Administrators, and Data Engineers.
Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role within a Technical team
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
• Demonstrable experience in Formal Project Management
• Proficiency in using JIRA for project tracking and management
• Familiarity with Project Methodology and its practical applications
• Experience in SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle
• Strong skills in Business Analysis
• Experience in implementing and managing Scrum processes and procedures
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field is preferred
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask.
