JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Madison Education Partnership (MEP; https://mep.wceruw.org/), a research-practice partnership between Madison Metropolitan School District and the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, joins research and practice by engaging in mutually defined and problem-based research that contributes to policy, builds capacity, and strengthens practice. MEP is seeking a skilled research program coordinator who will plan and coordinate the administrative, operational, outreach and promotional activities of the partnership. This position will support MEP\'s work to secure philanthropic and grant funding. In addition, this position will help MEP work with MMSD and UW to create strong research and create routines and opportunities to have that research impact policy and practice within MMSD, both at the local (school) and system (district) level. Lastly, the position will be responsible for identifying opportunities for applying MEP research learnings in MMSD through the design and small-scale, cyclical tests of change. Responsibilities: Plans and coordinates the administrative, operational, outreach and promotional activities related to research studies that may be collaborative and independent. Serves as a subject matter expert. 25% Coordinates the daily activities and contracts related to one or more research program(s) 15% Assists in the development, coordination, and facilitation of trainings and workshops for internal and external audiences to disseminate research program developments and information 5% Plans, develops, and implements processes and protocols to support research aims 5% Serves as a unit liaison and subject matter expert among internal and external stakeholder groups, collaborates across disciplines and functional areas, provides program information, and promotes the accomplishments and developments of scholars and research initiatives 25% Monitors program budget(s) and approves unit expenditures 25% Develops policies, procedures, and institutional agreements on behalf of the program Institutional Statement on Diversity: Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison.
