JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Diagnostic/Therapy Ctr - 30188 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 60% FTE, 8/12 hour day/evening shifts, varied start times between 6:00am - 9:30am. Department is open and staffed 6:00am - 7:00pm. No weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at American Family Children\'s Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: * Provide care to a variety of pediatric patients. * Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team. * Set priorities adapting to changing patient and unit/clinic situations. * Work in two of three care areas: day treatment therapies (e.g. infusions, transfusions), sedation for procedures as well as pre-post anesthesia care. Preferred - Bachelor\'s degree in nursing. Work Experience : Minimum - Six (6) months pediatric nursing experience Preferred - One (1) year recent (within 2 years) experience in Pediatric Acute Care and/or Pediatric hematology/oncology and/or Pediatric Sedation and/or Pediatric PACU or pre/post anesthesia area. Certifications : Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification and PALS certification.
