Danaher Corporation Scientist I R&D in Madison, Wisconsin

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Grow into a subject matter expert role and serve as a representative of the Analytical Development team in cross-functional meetings, contributing insights and expertise as required.

  • Design and execute novel analytical research and methods relating to client needs

  • Analyze and interpret analytical data, proactively troubleshoot and investigate issues

  • Train other scientists

  • Represent Aldevron during client meetings

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BS degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 2-5 years of experience. Or MS degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 0-2 years of experience. Or, PhD in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 0+ years of experience.

  • Hands on experience with HPLC/UPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis methods

  • Experience with chromatography/CE data systems such as Empower, OpenLab, 32 Karat

  • Familiarity with molecular biology techniques such as ELISA, enzymatic activity assay, electrophoresis techniques, qPCR

  • Skilled in experimental design, analysis and interpretation of analytical data

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working with large molecules such as proteins, RNA, or DNA

  • Pharmaceutical and cGMP regulations

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite
