U W-MADISON DIV. CONTINUING STUDIES Senior Facilities Designer in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The College of Engineering consists of nine academic departments and 40+ research centers, which along with the Dean\'s Office, has 2800 faculty, academic and university staff, employees in training, graduate, and undergraduate employees. The College has an annual operating budget of 215M from multiple funding sources. The College has nine buildings totaling approximately 820,045 square feet from which it operates its classroom instruction, instructional and research laboratories, and administrative offices. The Senior Facilities Design position is an integral part of the College of Engineering (CoE) Facilities Group. The successful candidate will primarily focus on leading instructional and research remodeling projects for the CoE. The specific tasks can include: programming, preliminary design, furniture specifications, estimating, purchasing, and project management. This position will report to the Associate Director of Facilities and collaborate closely with the entire Facilities Team. This position will also interact with Campus Facilities, Planning and Management, Physical Plant, Outside Vendors, CoE Dean\'s office, faculty/staff, and students to ensure that projects are designed and constructed as specified.
