Education Requirements: College grad with an CS degree or equivalent experience We\'re looking for someone who: Is passionate about their craft Has a positive attitude Is fun to work with Communicates clearly and succinctly, both orally and in writing Takes initiative Has a passion for personal growth and continuing education Works seamlessly with other teams and roles A qualified applicant must be able to: Design simple, elegant solutions to complex problems Write clean, testable, and well-documented software Collaborate with peers to make decisions on features, design, technology, & architecture Work in parts of the stack that might be new or unfamiliar Give technical feedback to other developers regarding design and code Contribute to technical documentation about the product Talk to customers and sales people about business problems & solutions Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Stuff that will put you at the top of our list if you have 5 or more years of experience with any of the following: Functional Programming JVM Languages: Clojure, Java, Scala Front End Technologies: React w/ TypeScript Mobile Development: React Native Advanced software design concepts: Asynchronous design, caching & memoization, concurrency and parallelism, performance testing & optimization Delivery and deployment of code: Git, CI, Docker, AWS, Azure At Singlewire, we believe what we do really matters.
