JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Department of Neurological Surgery is a department of over 20 faculty and 13 advanced practice providers located at 2 main sites: University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics and 20 S. Park/Meriter Hospital. This is a diverse group of neurosurgeons who provide primary, secondary, and tertiary inpatient and outpatient care for Wisconsin and northern Illinois. This position would be part of Neuro ICU team which includes physicians from neurosurgery, neurology and emergency medicine. Responsibilities: The successful candidate would be a member of the Neuro ICU team at University of Wisconsin Hospital. Clinical responsibilities include serving as the 24/7 onsite attending physician in the Neuro ICU during the assigned weeks. Attending duties are shared among the Neuro ICU physicians and will depend upon the number of faculty but is expected to be 1:5. Other clinical activities will include surgery, outpatient clinics and attending service on neurosurgery inpatient and consult services at University of Wisconsin Hospitals, the VA Hospital, community hospitals and...
