JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Medica\'s Sr. Director of Pharmacy Growth and Affordability is responsible for advancing Medica\'s pharmacy growth strategy, affordability agenda, and establishing team priorities in partnership with product leadership for each line of business. Key Accountabilities: Pharmacy affordability and trend management Pharmacy PBM and vendor performance management Pharmacy growth and innovation strategy Our Sr. Director will be accountable for pharmacy affordability and trend management initiatives from ideation all the way to execution and outcomes monitoring. This will include collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the enterprise. As applicable, this will require vendor engagement and contract negotiation and management. Growth priorities include developing and implementing a strategy for self-funded pharmacy business that appropriately manages financial performance while meeting the objectives of employers and other market stakeholders. This senior leader will Interference with market and product leadership to develop a pharmacy roadmap that will enable membership growth. In addition, this Sr. Director will lead pharmacy PBM and vendor performance by establishing a formal process to monitor and manage ongoing financial and non-financial outcomes in conjunction with respective pharmacy business leaders. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience; Master\'s degree preferred 10 + years of healthcare industry experience 5+ years of experience in a managed care pharmacy related field Additional Skills and Experience (strongly preferred): Managed care pharmacy experience with a Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Health Plan or related organization Deep working understanding of the financial components of pharmacy, and pharmacy performance metrics Experience with organic strategy creation and navigating ambiguity in the marketplace Experience working in a matrixed environment. Strong strategic thinking and planning capability Strong communication and relationship building skills Strong leadership abilities and competencies Advanced degree in a healthcare related field (PharmD) This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office (Madison, WI, Minnetonka, MN or Omaha, NE) on average, 2+ times per week. The full salary range for this position is \$167,700 - \$287,500. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position\'s scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
